Furniture Chamber of Commerce Offers Opportunities for Employees of Shuttered Furniture Stores

With the recent news that Art Van Furniture has filed for bankruptcy and is planning to close all company-owned stores within 60 days, employees of closed (or closing) furniture stores may find help from the Furniture Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to its services to retail furniture businesses, the Furniture Chamber offers opportunities for entrepreneurs to own a home-based furniture business with no start-up costs and a free membership in the Chamber. Members qualify for special health insurance coverage and the ability to make money from home with no caps or limits imposed.

“We’re all about helping small furniture businesses thrive,” says Larry Kozin, founder of the Furniture Chamber. “Part of that means being here for experienced industry professionals who suddenly find themselves out of a job. The Furniture Chamber offers phenomenal value, including support for people who have never owned a furniture business of their own before.”
